Eddie's "I wish I was in that shape now" page

It seems that there are a few of my newer friends that don't believe that there "old friend" was once a national caliber bodybuilder.  So I decided to put a few photos on the web to show what I was like in my younger days, and the answer is NO, I did not take steroids. If I had, I would have gone much further but my health is more important.  Below are some photos taken in my earlier days.

  Halloween 1982.  I used Vaseline and food coloring for the green tint.  It took weeks to get all of the green off.

  This was taken by a local news paper.  They were doing a story on my efforts to get ready for the Jr. Oklahoma Championships.  

 

 

 

  National Level
And finally, here is my best shape ever.  I placed 4th in the North American Bodybuilding Championships.  This was before drug testing was implemented into the sport.  I didn't take steroids but my competition did (they took great pride in discussing their "Stack").

This is the only video that I have of me competing.  It was taken using the old BETA video format and the lighting was terrible but I am grateful to have it.  The music is not the original song that I posed to but was added later.  The BETA tape did not have any sound on it.
